Description
We are so excited to see the continued growth of our school, and as a result, we will need more teachers to join our family. We are currently looking for elementary teachers to join us in the upcoming 2024-2025 academic year.
General Summary:
This position is responsible for instructing elementary school students in the core subjects of English, Math, Science, and Social Studies.
Essential Functions:
- Plan, prepare, and implement lessons and materials for classes and activities.
- Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students’ varying needs and interests.
- Instruct students individually and in groups, using various teaching methods such as lectures, discussions, and hands-on activities.
- Maintain communication with students and parents on their progress in the class.
- Attend faculty meetings and serve on committees as requested.
- Monitor student learning closely to understand how students are progressing toward the learning objectives. Then, provide students with instructive and timely feedback that will move their learning forward.
- Establish a safe and supportive classroom environment, encourage risk-taking, let students feel free to contribute their ideas, and ensure that teacher and student interactions are respectful and polite to promote a positive learning environment for all students.
- Provide clear student behavior expectations and monitor student behavior throughout the class and school campus.
- Follow established policies and procedures for reporting incidents (e.g., child abuse, etc).

Requirements
Required/Desired Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to compose and comprehend written communication.
- Strong commitment to being a part of a collaborative team with colleagues and administration.
- Ability to work effectively and sensitively with all constituencies involved in a school: students, parents, and faculty.
- Ability to work effectively with students, parents, staff members, and community representatives in providing a rigorous educational program.
- Familiar with technology and basic computer programs.
- Understanding of the physical, intellectual, social, and emotional developmental growth patterns of students.
- Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree and Teaching Credentials are strongly preferred.
Salary
$4,000/month - $6,000/month On-site Full-time
