The event, organized by the Teach Democracy (Formerly Constitutional Rights Foundation), brought together young minds from across the region for a simulated courtroom experience where students argue real-life cases in front of judges and attorneys.

Students from Merdinian schools gathered around a memorial on April 23rd to pay tribute and show respect for all the innocent Armenians who were massacred, deported, and imprisoned. In remembrance of all the innocent Armenians, we gathered around the Tsitsernakaberd today and placed flowers on the ground.

C. & E. Merdinian Armenian Evangelical School is saddened to announce the passing of Reverend Harut Khachatryan, senior pastor at United Armenian Congregational Church (UACC) and former member of the Merdinian Board of Directors, who passed away on January 19, 2024.

It is with heavy hearts and profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Harold DeMirjian, a remarkable individual who played a pivotal role in the establishment and growth of the C. & E. Merdinian Armenian Evangelical School.

We are celebrating Armenian Cultural Day on Saturday, November 18, 2023, from 10:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m. on the campus field. The program is dedicated to the resilient people and children of “Artsakh.” Our Armenian, Music, and Art Departments are organizing performances representing our rich culture and heritage through art shows, poetry, dance, music, and costumes.

The C. & E. Merdinian Armenian Evangelical School’s Board of Directors has elected Nerses Aposhian as the new chair of its Board of Directors. Aposhian succeeds Dr. Tzoler Oukayan-Sagherian, who served on the Merdinian School board as chair from 2020-2023 and will continue to serve as a board member.
