Board Chairperson's Message:

Dear Merdinian Community,

As I enter my second year as the Chairman of the Board of Directors and sixth year as a board member, I am thrilled and honored to address you all as an alumnus of the remarkable Merdinian Armenian Evangelical School. Having spent 11 formative years here, this school holds a special place in my heart, shaping my education, character, and values as a Christian Armenian.

I am also proud to share that I am the grandson of Mr. Aram Boulghourjian, a former principal whose dedication to educational excellence and the Armenian language and culture continues to inspire me.

Our entire Board of Directors is excited about the school's continued growth, record enrollment, new programs, faculty, and improved facilities. Under the guidance of our newly appointed interim principal, Mrs. Shogher Shanoian, we look forward to Merdinian providing our students with unparalleled opportunities for learning, personal growth, and spiritual development.

As a Christian Armenian school, Merdinian instills values that last a lifetime. Compassion, integrity, wisdom, and service to others are woven into the fabric of daily life here, creating an environment where students thrive academically, socially, and spiritually.

For over 42 years, Merdinian has been a beacon of quality education, nurturing minds and hearts while fostering a deep appreciation for our Armenian heritage and Christian values. Our mission is to provide an exceptional educational experience that empowers students to become compassionate, knowledgeable, and responsible leaders.

Having experienced firsthand the impact of a Merdinian education, I am committed to ensuring that all current and future students have the same enriching experience. Our school's mission extends beyond academic excellence; it aims to nurture well-rounded individuals who contribute positively to our global society.

I invite all members of our Merdinian community—parents, teachers, alumni, students, and the community at large—to join us in celebrating our collective achievements and supporting the school's continued growth. Together, we can ensure that Merdinian remains a beacon of knowledge, love, and Armenian heritage for generations to come.

Thank you for being a part of the Merdinian family. I look forward to another year of achievements, growth, and shared successes.
